How long have you been riding and what got you into BMX?
Close to five years. I forgot how I got sucked into this mess

What is your favorite thing about riding?
Not having to win

Do you have any favorite companies?
I think Cult and Odyssey are awesome; they are treating my good friend Grant right!

Favorite rider(s):
uhh. Rob Diquattro, Chris Zep (when he rides), Dakota Roche, Alex Kennedy, Ty Morrow, Anthony Watkinson, Christian Rigal… there are so many. Basically if you do grind combos that nobody else does I love you.

What’s your bike setup like?
Two pegs! Generally no grip on either of my pedals too :(.

Dream spot or place that you would like to ride?
Any cool low rail set up.

Do you enjoy living on Long Island, if so what’s the best part?
I really have no complaints between the months of April and October. My biggest gripe with the east coast is how damn wet cold and windy the winter is.

What is your average day like?
Wake up, drive mom to the train, go back to sleep until everyone wakes up, ride somewhere with someone, then go to work. Come back from work late, peruse internet mindlessly until a magical voice in my head tells me to go to sleep.

Do you have any edits in the works?
I’ve probably filmed around four clips in the entirety of the year of 2012 so far. But yeah!

Any up and coming riders the world should be on the lookout for?
Andrew Castenada, Grant Germain, Rob Diquattro, there are so many I’m forgetting, but its late and I’m getting lazier.

Anything you would like to see from FTL in the future?(Trips, clothing, edits, accessories, etc)?
A good looking crew neck sweater would be dope. That or maybe some socks.

Is there any way to personally connect with you (Facebook,Twitter,Instagram, etc)?
Of course. Twitter and Instagram are both @billy_malkotsis!!! I am pretty cool so I dont think anybody would be disappointed after they follow…

Any last words or shoutouts?
Thanks to everybody who made my time spent in California these past few weeks, shout outs to my bosses for not firing me, and thanks to my parents for privileging me with tons of opportunity. I really dont know how to type my gratitude for everybody into words, but y’all are the best. Also a very huge shout out to Billy Perry for making this whole FTL thing actually exist. haha
